Honestly, we’ve been to Coron once in 2017 and this is the 2nd time we have visited the island. The experience now is different and more special as we have Baby Kairi, our 1-year old daughter, with us now during this travel.

TAG Resort Coron enjoys a prime location, situated just a short distance from Coron Town, making it easily accessible for travelers arriving by air or sea. Coron Airport is approximately 30 minutes away, and the resort provides convenient airport transfers for guests’ comfort and convenience. Port of Coron is just 10-15 mins away and you’ll be at the resort in no time.
Accommodation Options at TAG Resort Coron
TAG Resort Coron offers a range of luxurious accommodation options to suit different preferences and group sizes. From spacious villas overlooking the sea to cozy rooms nestled amidst tropical gardens, each accommodation option is designed with meticulous attention to detail and equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable and indulgent stay.
We had the privilege to stay at their Tahanan Suite. This suite comes with a king-sized bed, a coffee maker machine using coffee pods, a sofa where you can relax, a nice vanity area, plenty of space inside, a cable television, in-room refrigerator, and a spacious bathroom and shower room. We also had the chance to check into their Tadhana Suite, where we had an exclusive access to the pool. Everything you can see in Tahanan Suite is also in Tadhana Suites plus more! You can enjoy the pool view and the surrounding villas / suites when you wake up.

Baby Kairi definitely had a great experience while dipping in the pool. The water isn’t so cold (it felt as though it was warm) so we can splurge ourselves in the pool even at night.
Dining Experience at TAG Resort Coron
TAG Resort Coron takes pride in offering a culinary journey that delights the senses. The resort’s restaurants feature an exquisite selection of local and international cuisines prepared by renowned chefs using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Guests can indulge in a range of dining options, from casual beachfront dining to fine dining experiences under the stars.
TAG Resort’s restaurant is called Buntag or Buntag Restaurant. “Buntag” is a bisaya word which means “morning” in English. This is where we spent most of our time selecting different food and dishes in their buffet table.
They also have an open bar called “TAGAY“. Happy hour is from 2pm to 6pm where you can purchase two drinks for the price of one (Buy 1 Take 1).
At TAG Resort, Taza Cafe is also situated just about the highway. This is where we had our lunch as they currently serve rice bowls at an affordable price so we ought to try that. It didn’t disappoint, however, we weren’t able to finish our lunch because the van from our tour has arrived.
