My recent visit to Happy Farm Villas was nothing short of enchanting, and I am excited to share my experience with you.
Arrival and First Impressions of Happy Farm Villas
As I approached Happy Farm Villas, the lush greenery and rice fields immediately caught my eye. The resort is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, showcasing Balinese-style architecture that exudes warmth and tranquility. The structures, intricately carved details, and modern roofs create an inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a peaceful getaway. Having visited Bali, it’s not hard to imagine we are only in Laguna with this scenery.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by friends who provided a warm welcome. Me and my family arrived a little late but we were able to quickly settle as we see our friends waiting for us too. The ambiance of the resort is calm and serene, making it easy to leave behind the hustle and bustle of city life.
It was also evident that the pool has been drained and cleaned up prior to guests’ arrival. Keeping true to their promise that for each guest’s arrival, the pool is being cleaned to maintain water purity and cleanliness. Water temperature is uncontrolled because the water comes from Mt. Makiling directly but cools down when filled onto the pool.
FUN FACT: The pool water is a natural hot spring that comes directly from Mt. Makiling.

The Spacious Rooms
Happy Farm Villas offers exclusive private villa or private hot spring resort experience that can accommodate up to a maximum of 20 guests. The resort featured four fully air-conditioned rooms, each equipped with smart TVs and comfortable bedding. The spacious layout allowed for both privacy and communal gathering spaces, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. Each room has its own heated shower and bidets.
Private Hot Spring Pool
The highlight of the villa was undoubtedly the private hot spring pool. Soaking in the warm waters while surrounded by nature was a rejuvenating experience. The pool area also included day beds where I could lounge and soak up the sun while enjoying views of the surrounding farmland.
Complete Kitchen Equipment
The villa’s kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, oven toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker and Rice Cooker. You may also use the charcoal grill if you want a barbeque night. You won’t have any problems with drinking water as it is already provided with a hot and cold option and you also get to request an extra drinking container for free.

The villa is equipped with numerous amenities designed for relaxation and enjoyment:
- Wellness Room: This space includes a sauna, yoga mats, and exercise equipment. I took advantage of the wellness room to unwind after a day of dipping in the pool.
- Outdoor Dining Area: The long dining table overlooking the farm view was perfect for enjoying meals together. The fresh air added to the dining experience.
- Entertainment Options: From table tennis to foosball, there were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained without leaving the resort. We also were able to use the billiards pool as well as the dart board.
- Entertainment Room / Boardroom: One key experience that Filipinos love is the karaoke and it’s one that could never be missed out when on vacations like this. For those who work off-site, this part of the villa can immediately turn into a boardroom where meetings could take place. This is also one of the airconditioned parts of the house that comes with 55″ Smart HD TV where you can watch movies, do karaoke, or meetings, if needed. Board games are also available and free to use.
- Natural Hot Spring Pool: One of the best highlights during our stay is definitely the hot spring pool. A staycation wouldn’t be complete without this. Just one look at the pool and it will entice you to dip and stay in it for a long while. Our baby definitely stayed a lot longer because the pool’s temperature is just right for you to not get cold. This pools comes with a 2-3 ft deep part for kids and a 5-ft deep area for adults.
- Mini Playground: This is the first place that caught our little one’s eye and attention. She even started playing before taking her meal. Just make sure to keep an eye to your little one as accidents are inevitable.

However, I found it hard to leave the comfort of our villa due to its inviting ambiance.

During our stay, I had the opportunity to enjoy meals prepared in the villa’s kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, including a stove, refrigerator, and microwave. This setup allowed us to prepare our own meals or opt for local delivery from nearby restaurants.
The outdoor dining area provided a lovely setting for meals. Dining under the stars while listening to the sounds of nature added a magical touch to our culinary experiences.
