Ho Chi Minh City is one of Vietnam’s most important cultural and historical locations, and it’s full of temples that are a testament to everything that’s been going on in the country throughout the years. There’s also the Khmer Empire, which ruled from the 9th to the 15th century, as well as Theravada Buddhism, which is still present to this day and is Buddhism’s oldest existing school.
