Taguig is such a fast-developing and vast city in Metro Manila. With many developments still going on, no wonder it is one of the busiest central business districts in Manila. Personally, I have not been exploring Taguig that much because I live in the south (Cavite) and Taguig is an unfamiliar place for me, but luckily, I was able to explore a bit of Taguig last weekend.
On our short time in the area, here are some of the places you could visit and things you could do while in Taguig.
Visit Vista Mall Taguig
Vista Mall Taguig is one of the lifestyle centers around Taguig area. It features a two-story mall with almost everything you could possibly need.
If you are working online and need a coworking space, there’s Coffee Project on the second floor. If you want to splurge a bit on food, the ground level is there to provide selections of restaurants to satisfy your cravings. If you need to do some furniture shopping and home decor assignments, you can definitely visit the AllHome center.
Vista Mall Taguig tries to fill up the small spaces with useful corners.
2. Go to The Nest Food Park
A few mins drive (or walk) from Vista Mall Taguig is where you could find a food park that serves great food and enjoyments for its patrons. The Nest opens at 4 pm onwards and is very much alive when the night comes in.
A quick visit here with friends would definitely be an awesome experience for everyone.
3. Go BGC Mural Hopping (Street art Hopping)

If you haven’t been to Bonifacio Global City yet, you’d be surprised by how well maintained and classy this place is. Murals or street arts have been distributed all around the city to add aesthetics and fun in the environment. BGC might be one of the busiest business districts today but it never forgets how to incorporate fun and art in the city.
4. Go to Venice Piazza in McKinley
One of the famous landmarks when you hear Taguig City beside the Bonifacio Global City is the Venice Piazza or the Venice Grand Canal Mall. This iconic place is built in the image of the Venice Grand Canal in Italy with shops’ exterior design and layout is very similar to the original one.
It also has the Grand Canal scenery where you can explore the whole area with a gondola for a fee. At night, the Venice Grand Canal Mall or Venice Piazza lit up with a romantic Italian vibe making it a great place for couples and even for friends to unwind, chill, and relax. It could also be tagged as one of the Taguig tourists spots.
5. Have your lunch at Sunrise Buckets in BGC
Sunrise Buckets might not be the only restaurant in the area but it is one of the places with great selections of buffalo wings served in different flavors. The price point is also fair for everyone to surely enjoy and stay longer at the place.
Having experienced other restaurants in the area, Sunrise Buckets surely has the cheapest beer price among all the restaurants in BGC.
6. Chill at the parks in BGC
Bonifacio Global City has lots of parks to offer for leisure and chill fun times. One area you could visit is the Kasalikasan Garden, where some of the garden weddings are usually held because of its vast space for events. The trees also add to the great piece of land making it one of the most visited leisure parks in BGC.
During weekends, one part of the road circling Kasalikasan Garden is closed for the weekend market.
7. Invest in a condominium in Taguig
This, I know, is a seldom thing to do, but could definitely give you a great idea for the future. If you are into investing in properties for leasing, getting a condominium in Taguig is one of the best decisions you could do.
Imagine the things you could do and places you could visit because this unit you will have will be in the middle of everything. If not, a close one to the places by walk or a few minutes drive by car.
COHO by Vista Land Taguig is already in the plan. Known as “The Courtyard”, this property is one of the new developments by Vista Land in Taguig. It will have its own 2 floors lifestyle mall, 3 floors parking, and residential homes from the 6th floor to the 21st floor.
As you can see in the image above, The Courtyard COHO by Vista Land will just start the digging and excavation just this month (September) and is projected to be finished by 2021.
The Courtyard COHO by Vista Land offers a unique and beautiful amenity area which boasts a pool that has a view of the Taguig skyline. Accessible via the South Luzon Express Way, C5 and C6 road, and C5 south link. It also is nearby Taguig Medical Center and St. Lukes Medical Center Taguig.
Shopping centers like Market! Market!, SM Aura, Venice Grand Canal Mall are also around the property. Business districts like BGC and McKinley Hill are just a few minutes drive away. The Courtyard is a perfect place where you’ll meet convenience and curated lifestyle for you and the family you will build.
