We seriously had a great time when we were in Bali. Our itinerary was just so relaxed that we didn’t have to spend so much energy and just sleep when we got home. We even had time to swim for a longer time and spend so much time together as if we were on a honeymoon. But nevertheless, our time in Bali was because of the places we visited as well and the people who we were able to interact with.

Aside from astonishing temples and beaches in Bali, this place is also a haven for the best places to eat as cuisines from different cultures have emerged on this island. There also have been a lot of restaurants who became famous in the area not only because of the food but also because of how picturesque their place was, and one of them was The Junction House.
The Junction House
The Junction House Bali is located in Seminyak and was just a quick 8-mins motorbike ride from our villa. We were staying in Villa Palma near Echo Beach. If you’re ever in Seminyak, you got to head to The Junction House. Good food, great decor and, really fantastic service!
This restaurant, The Junction House, is inspired by a Haussmann Parisian house. You could experience dining in a different part of a house, either it’s an office, a kitchen, in the living room, bedroom, or patio. Each of the dining areas is set up to be a part of a house so it gives you a homey ambiance like you are eating at the comfort of your own home.
Downstairs is a cozy pop in for coffee while upstairs is a classy restaurant feel. Our favorite part of the restaurant was the Patio and the bedroom (if that’s what it’s called) on the second floor, but if you want to spend long hours, I don’t recommend the patio as it could get hot even with air conditioning.
The Instagramable Library Masterpiece
They also have an Instagramable library masterpiece build up from the first floor to the second floor and its what attracts the customers too as you can take your beautiful photos in this part of the restaurant.
You can even use the ladder to glide to the other side of the shelf but remember to be careful because you could go down when you don’t have a proper grip.
The Food Experience
Since we are new to the place, we ordered mostly the bestsellers on the menu. The prices are reasonable so you definitely could spend a good amount in the restaurant without breaking the bank.
There also are quite a lot of choices, from traditional Balinese food to Thai and even Western dishes, the food they serve is quite diverse. The best thing about the restaurant too is how presentable the dishes are. They garnish every meal and serve it with love and care.
The coffee we ordered was good and it looks really presentable with “Bali vibes” coffee art in it.
We also got to take pictures before our lunch was served.
We ordered and enjoyed the following:
Steak Frites
Thai Beef Crown Salad
Tropical Smoothie Bowl
Kick Starter Smoothie
Carribean Sky
Frozen Raspberry Daiquiri
Nuttelatte
Cheese Gnocchi
I think we stayed there for like a good two (2) hours because it was really hot outside and we want to pass with the heat. We took some photos as well of the area as we really enjoyed the aesthetics of the restaurant. The staff were also all smiles and welcoming during our visit. Their manager even went to our table to check if everything’s alright and if we need anything, a good gesture from a manager for sure.
If we are to go back to Bali, we’ll surely make time to visit this Instagramable cafe in Seminyak!
