HOW TO GET TO BALABAC:
1. From Puerto Princesa town proper to North terminal via tricycle
2. Ride a shuttle van (4-5 hrs)or bus (7-8 hrs) going to Riotuba
3. Aboard passengers boat to Balabac (4-5 hrs)
EXPENSES for 5 days:
-100 tricycle from PPS town proper to North Terminal Balabac
-350 shuttle van from North Terminal to Riotuba via van (sorry don’t know how much will it cost via bus )
-400 passengers boat from Riotuba to Balabac (theres only 1 trip everyday, better go there early like 7 AM)

a. You can see an Eagle up close.
b. Electricity in Balabac is from 2 PM-6AM.
c. Call and text are available but internet connection is intermittent.
d. Put lots of sunblock/sunscreen.
e. Bring a waterproof bag for your gadget/s
f. No ATM or bank Riotuba or Riotuba Balabac
g. Expect 1 day going to Balabac and another 1 day going back to Puerto Princesa
h. Bring sunglasses to protect your eyes.
i. I visited this wonderful island just right after typhoon Vinta so I thought that some islands will be ruined. Just check it for you to find out.
