The Premier Lounge provides a 360-degree view of Manila skyline thru its floor-to-ceiling glass panels. The exclusive front desk is available 24 hours. While you can stay in the lounge from 6 am to 11 pm, it’s highly advisable that you optimize your lounge access by getting there for a continental breakfast in the morning, afternoon tea in the afternoon, and evening cocktails by the night.

Novotel Manila Araneta Center: Why You Should Stay at the Executive Suites | Hotel ReviewThis is mostly the highlight of our stay in Novotel Manila Araneta Center, the access to the Premier Lounge is what we definitely loved. The view from above everything is just breathtaking. The exclusivity of the lounge gives you more appreciation of the privilege you had just because you stayed at an Executive Suite.
We even had our breakfast in the Premier Lounge just because we thought that The Food Exchange was crowded – also because we woke up late. There are minimal selections at the Premier Lounge breakfast, nonetheless, it still made our tummy full and satisfied. You can also have an unlimited supply of coffee, tea, and soda through their All-Day Refreshments service.
We highly encourage you to avail the Executive Rooms if you want exclusivity all by yourself. With all the additional amenities and privilege said, it will truly be one of the best services you will have with Novotel Manila Araneta Center.

Our Room: Executive King Bed

Our room type was the Executive King Bed located on the 21st floor. This room has stunning views of the pool, garden, and Metro on a bird’s eye view.
The room was of an adequate size – not small nor large but has complete room amenities except for kitchen needs. Novotel Manila

Room Review: Executive King Bed

Upon entry, on the left side, is where you’d find the closet, with the bathrobes, safety deposit box, and Novotel Manila in-room slippers. On your right would be your towels, and the shower room, washroom, and toilet. In all fairness, after coming back from Taipei, I realized that only Novotel Manila has a separate door for the toilet and bathroom of all the other hotels we stayed in. We were also quite surprised about the walls surrounding the wash area, it is all made of clear glass panels. If you want to keep your privacy while taking a shower, you may opt to bring down the drapes by pressing the controller button inside the washroom.

Another good thing about staying at Novotel Manila, they have a coffee machine, and on our room was an Illy Espresso machine. Imagine good coffees in the morning and unlimited coffee at the Premier Lounge with superb views. Should you want a tea, they are also available. The mini-bar is also available at your disposal but will be charged to your room.

Netflix from your computer? Yes!

What I also love about how advance Novotel Manila is, is the customized socket for charging and entertainment. It comes with a VGA and HDMI port that’s directly connected to the television, a coaxial port for audio access, a USB port for phone charging, a universal power socket and a few more I cannot anymore remember. You’ll never get battery drained and you won’t ever need to buy an adaptor. I brought my laptop, connected it to the TV and all day we did was Netflix.

The sofa was comfy as well as the king-sized bed. The night lights definitely helped in making a sound sleep. The drapes used for covering the glass wall is neat and can clearly block sunlight. We had our breakfast late because of that. We thought we woke up in the middle of the night but we were clearly wrong. Those were really effective!
No amount of words could tell how much of an awesome experience it was staying at one of the finest hotels in Metro Manila. We enjoyed every facility and we love the exclusivity and service that the Premier Lounge brings. Again, we highly encourage you to book your stay at an Executive Suite.

Dinner at The 6th Pool Bar and Lounge

We also had the chance to try out dishes at the 6th Pool Bar. The 6th Pool Bar is located beside the pool on the 6th floor of the hotel. Everyone has access to this facility and is welcome to be of service. The first time we were here was at an event together with Johnny, Josh, and the Giveback Giveaway participants during their farewell party. Novotel Manila

The dishes we ordered are those we thought to be appealing and those that will surely fill our tummy with great and sumptuous food. If you want to try something else, check out their menu on the website.
1. Fried dilis basket with sweet potato fries, served with spiced coconut vinegar and tomato dip,
2. Pork Skewer Philippine Recipe,
3. Marinated Free Range Chicken Breast,
4. Watermelon Smoothie,
5. Mango Daiquiri

We loved the vibe at the 6th Pool Bar and Lounge. By the time we got our table, there are plenty of folks hanging around together with good music the DJ crafts and a singer with few sets in between. If you’d like a more peaceful approach to your dining, then you must go at the Gourmet Bar on the ground level of the hotel.

Breakfast at The Food Exchange Manila

Since we’re staying at an Executive Suite, we have a complimentary breakfast buffet at The Food Exchange Manila.

The Food Exchange Manila has a vibrant and festive setting that awaits everyone for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During our time there, we had breakfast. Plenty of food choices are available from Filipino cuisines, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, grill, and international favorites.
We got there about 8:30 am and we were quite surprised because even though the space at The Food Exchange Manila was enough, we still had to fall in line in order to get a table. There was also a good number of people coming in and out of the venue. There are so many people in this place, especially in the mornings.

According to a friend who works in the hotel, they are getting a low rating on their food choices as most of the comments say, the food choices are not enough. I don’t see anything wrong about the food menu they have, in fact, it was one of the biggest breakfast venues we experienced so definitely there was a lot of choices for food to it.
There were food stations that get the most attention, the food trays in that particular area get empty after a short while leaving not many choices for others. Nonetheless, you can get a complete meal with The Food Exchange Manila.

Lunch at the Gourmet Bar

The Gourmet Bar is a laid-back restaurant located on the ground level of the hotel next to The Food Exchange Manila and is open 24 hours. A good space for creative minds and meetings. The Gourmet bar serves new and fresh dishes and fresh cocktails.
Our lunch was served here. The food choices are not-so-familiar to us as we’re really not too much of a restaurant eater. But if you have a good grasp of what the food is, the Gourmet Bar serves very good tasting and good looking food. Novotel Manila

Here’s what we ordered:
Chef’s tasting platter (choice of 3 tapas) – we chose Ostra EscabechadosNorwegian Smoked Salmon
and Avruga Caviar, and Gambas Al Ajillo.
For the drinks, we had Movies Star and Sun Kissed Fizz.
For the dessert, we had a Selection of 3 Sorbet or Gelato.
Wanting to try something else, check out their menu on the website.
If you love tasting new versions of the old food, then The Gourmet Bar is where you’ll need to reserve a table for your meetings.
